Content Preview: How Your Content Looks Downstream

Channels fall into three groups: owned, affiliates, and syndicates. Owned and affiliate channels stay in sync with source, and syndicates display most content according to their publishing specifications.

That makes publishing a hard deadline for syndicated content. Anything you fix afterward — a typo, a brokeln link, a swapped image — will correct itself on owned and affiliates, but the syndicated version will stay as point in time.
